Indications

Chronic bronchial asthma esp for prevention of nocturnal asthma symptons.

Dosage

Adult Initially 10 mg at night. Dose may be increased to 20 mg after 1-2 wk. In patients who previously have tolerated oral beta 2-agonists well, initial dose is 20 mg. Patients w/ impaired renal function Initially 5 mg. May be increased to 10 mg after 1-2 wk. Elderly Adult dose. Childn 6-12 yr Initially 10 mg, 2-5 yr 5 mg.
