Classification
Peripheral Vasodilators & Cerebral Activators / Haemorrheologicals
Indications
Cerebral & peripheral vascular disorders, sequelae of apoplexy (not in acute phase). Vascular eye disorders, diabetic retinopathy, sudden deafness due to vascular disorders, diabetic angiopathies, functional vascular disorders.
Dosage
1 tab tid. May be increased to 2 tab tid.
Contraindications
Severe hepatic, renal & decompensated cardiac insufficiency, recent MI, AV block, recent apoplexy (until the 3rd day), severe circulatory collapse; simultaneous therapy w/ beta-blockers.
Precautions
Patients susceptible to cerebral seizures; residual urine formation due to prostatic hypertrophy.
Interactions
May potentiate action of antihypertensives, nitrates, a-blockers, tricyclic psychotropic drugs. |
