Indications
Conditions associated w/ increased tonus of striated muscle due to organic or neurologic affections, muscular hypertonia, spasm & contracture. Locomotor disorders eg spondylosis, spondylarthrosis, lumboischialgia. Obliterative vascular diseases, conditions caused by disorders of vascular innervation.
Dosage
Adult 3-9 tab daily. Childn 6-14 yr 2-4 mg/kg body wt daily in 3 divided doses, 3 mth-6 yr 5mg/kg body wt daily in 3 divided doses.
Adverse Reactions
Sensations of tension in the head, nausea, vomiting, transient physical asthenia. Pruritus, erythema, urticaria may rarely occur. Muscular weakness in childn. |
